Family and friends of TV actor Karan Oberoi gathered Tuesday in front of the Dindoshi (Goregaon East) session court, in the hope that he would get a bail bond in a case of alleged rape and extortion, carried against him by a tantrik-cum healer. However, the hearing that was scheduled to take place yesterday was postponed until one day after the complainant's lawyer asked the court for additional time to respond to the Karan team's bail application. Karan's sister, Gurbani, and his friends, including Sherrin Verghese, Chaitanya Bhosle and Siddharth Haldipur, were present at the court.
