Actress Deepika Padukone made waves on the pink carpet of MET Gala 2019 in facing a Barbie avatar dressed in a Zac Posen evening dress. and all when she came out in a pink strapless dress at the Metropolitan Museum of Art here Monday night.
She opted for the Zac Posen metallic pink lurex jacquard dress with 3D printed pieces to look like embroidery.
In tune with this year's camp theme: Notes on Fashion, Deepika came out in an exaggerated version of Barbie. She added a dramatic twist to her look with a tall, voluminous ponytail adding a bit of shine with the bejeweled pink hair band, spectacular burgundy lips and a purple eye makeup
This is Deepika's third participation in the competition. She made her gala debut in 2017 in a simple white Tommy Hilfiger dress. Last year, the actress wore an elegant red dress Prabal Gurung with red heels.
