Faithful to tradition, the first Monday in May brought together the world's largest costume party at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The Met Gala has once again hosted the most elegant celebrities, including Bollywood stars, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.
Priyanka arrived at the gala with her husband, the American singer Nick Nickas. She was wearing a gray-yellow-pink Dior dress and all her appearance seemed inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. She wore a spiky silver dress, curly and sparkling hair, in the image of the red queen. His eyebrows were painted gray and his eyes were lined with a white eyeliner. Nick, on his side, wore a white suit and looked like a suzerain of the Italian Mafia with his fake mustache.

Priyanka is his third participation at the Met Gala and his second with Nick. Both men represented the creations of fashion designer Ralph Lauren at the 2017 event. It was also one of their first dates between them. Subsequently, Ralph designed Priyanka's wedding dress and outfits for the entire bridal party.
This year's theme is Camp: Notes on Fashion. It is based on Susan Sontag's 1964 essay, Notes on Camp. In her essay, Susan defined the word "camp" as follows: "The essence of Camp is his unnatural love: artifice and exaggeration".
Deepika Padukone is presented in a pink prom dress designed in a pink ball gown. to be Zac Posen. She wore fat, swollen hair with a pink headband. She completed her look with large earrings and a silver bracelet. See more photos:
Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, along with her husband and singer Joe Jonas, also appear on the 'pink' carpet. Both wore colorful matching outfits and Sophie even put silver glitter in her hair. More shocking costumes were worn by singer Katy Perry who arrived looking like a chandelier; the actor Jared Leto who was wearing his own fake head cut; and Lady Gaga who put her underwear on the red carpet. Zendaya, Spider-Man's actor: Far From Home, impressed everyone with his light blue Cinderella dress.
