Microsoft offers an annual package of over 1 crore to IIT graduates

The US tech giant apparently would offer an annual package of 1.5 crore rupees to IITiens for jobs in the United States, reported Economic Times citing IIT investment teams.

The investment teams also told the business daily that the Uber booth aggregator was also offering a 1 crore package more to graduates next year, for their work in the United States. The investment cell has confirmed with the publication that Microsoft offers an annual offer of up to 214,000 USD, including the membership bonus, base salary, performance bonus and restricted stock. The report further states that, until now, only Uber and Microsoft offer packages above a crore.

It should be noted that the placement order in well-established legacy IITs will begin on December 1st. Ira Gupta, human resources manager at Microsoft India, reportedly said India was a source of talented engineers for the company. This year, the company has offered more than 400 jobs to students from the country's top engineering institutions and is eager to hire more talent from IITs.
