In an interview with Jeffrey Harris of 411, Miesha Tate, MMA and UFC legend, had some interesting things to say about one of his longtime rivals, WWE star Ronda Rousey. The highlights are:
If she thinks Ronda Rousey handled defeat well and was gracious in defeat: "I can not say I felt she was gracious in defeat. I think she has handled it very badly. She left a lot of her fans in suspense. And I know that there were many little girls who really admired Ronda, and she was a source of inspiration for many. And for that, I'm thankful, but I'm discouraged to think of how many people have been left in the dark knowing that she has never officially yet officially announced her retirement or anything of the sort.
Be courteous to Ronda Rousey today: "We would simply ignore ourselves. I do not think it's necessary to be civilian. You know, I once tried to be polite to her and … "
" – I tried to shake her hand, you know, to be that the bigger woman in an instant of defeat. But I respect Ronda tremendously as an athlete. I just do not like it as a person. "
In the full interview, Tate says more about Rousey, as well as about his role as executive at One Championship, retiring from active competition and more.
