Even when the trailer was released last month, many people and the opposition were not happy with it. The biopic on PM Modi was due out on April 5th, but that was not the case. The film of this Omung Kumar will now be on April 11th.
As reported by PTI, Maharashtrian Navnirman Sena requested the resignation of CFBC Chief Prasoon Joshi. The MNS party claimed that Prasoon Joshi granted preferential treatment to the manufacturers of the PM Modi biopic. The film is criticized for its release during the election period at Loksabha in 2019.
Amey Khopkar, president of the Maharashtra president, Maharashtra President Chitrapat Karmachari Sena, told PTI: " As a rule, producers must submit the final copy of the film to the censor's office 58 days before the date of the exhibition, so why has special treatment been provided for the biographical film of Prime Minister Narendra Modi? "

Khopkar added, "We condemn the censorship commission that has done everything possible to make this film soothing the government, Prasoon Joshi should resign immediately from his post."
