Mumbai : The MNS threatened Saturday to prevent the publication of a biographical document on Prime Minister Narendra Modi baderting that he was violating the model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha polls from April to May.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi", directed by Omung Kumar with Vivek Oberoi in the lead, is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 5th.
The film also stars Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Zarina Wahab and Prashant Narayanan.

In a statement, MNS Secretary-General Shalini Thackeray said party leader Raj Thackeray said last year that the BJP was sponsoring films such as "Toilet-Ek Prem Katha" and "Padman" "to promote the projects of his government.
"Not even a year has pbaded and the BJP has added another feather to its hat," she said, citing the biopic about the prime minister.
Stating that he should not be allowed to be published, Thackeray also criticized Film officials for giving lyrics to Javed Akhtar and Sameer.
The two reputable Bollywood lyricists have publicly stated that they have not contributed to the Modi biopic in any way.

They also claimed that the MNS J stopping the release of the film "in his own style"
