ON ROLE IN SUPER 30
My character, Surpiya, is a typical Indian girl, who always gives priority to her family. She thinks she is standing up and ahead of her time. She is always the first to take the step in the relationship, as if she blew flying kisses and presented it to her father. She is very brave and cheerful. I loved playing this character.
ON THE SEQUENCE OF SONGS AND DANCE OF SUPER 30: FLAK
Yeh toh siri hai trailer trailer, image baaki hai pure dost! Many people commented and sang on the songs and dances of the film. I've been witness to the magic created by Hrithik. I'm sure his fans will be very happy.
TO BE A FAN OF HRITHIK ROSHAN
I liked him, yes, but I became a big fan after working with him. I sat down and watched all his movies. I started with the guzaarish, then with the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, the Jodhaa-Akbar, the Dhoom and the Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. I was like oh my god, that's the performance range.
TRANSITION FROM TELEVISION TO MOVIES
It was difficult. There is a lot of mental blockage in us, and it can make you fall. But I told myself "Sabki sunungi, karungi apni". There were many people who have always supported me, my family and my team Kumkum Bhagya. Ekta Kapoor believed that I would do a good job and allowed myself to explore. I had this support system. Whenever a TV actor looks at me, I say that I have not done anything awesome, I have only followed my dream. My main goal as an actor is to spend time with my characters. I'm really happy that the roles that are offered to me are very versatile. You get this different joy.
ON SUPER 30 DELAY
I worried about the delay, but then I realized that whatever happens, everything happens for the better. The fans were so excited when they finally saw the trailer. I consider all my work experience in Super 30 fabulous, that a girl who started her career on television had a film like Love Sonia and was then able to work with a superstar such as Hrithik Roshan. I want to enjoy this trip.
WORKING WITH VIKAS BAHL
I was comfortable turning with him, he did justice to my character, both on screen and off screen. The allegations came out after I finished shooting. Decision makers make the decisions and take the call. I seem diplomatic, but my conversations with Vikas, sir, were aimed at asking for details about my character.
