While it was a fairly rare phenomenon a few years ago, Bollywood is now brimming with biopics. Aside from Sanju (based on Sanjay Dutt's life) recently released, we already have Soorma and Manto, among many others in the running this year. The industry has therefore decided to move on to the next step – to do a sequel to a biopic. Yes, you read that right – a Mid Day report claimed that a sequel to MS Dhoni's biopic is underway!
The tabloid reported that Sushant Singh Rajput, who tried the role of Dhoni in MS Dhoni's The Untold Story by Neeraj Pandey, will resume his role for the sequel. While the director of the film is still to be finalized, he is likely to go upstairs next year.
MS Dhoni The Untold Story remains the biggest success of Sushant's career and the film has collected more than 100 Rs crore at the domestic counter. He also played Anupam Kher, Disha Patani, Kiara Advani and Bhumika Chawla.
