Namaste England is not doing well at the box office. According to Bollywood Hungama, he earned 3.9 crore Rs after two days. Despite the star couple Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor who was greeted enthusiastically by the audience in Ishaqzaade, Namaste England has not managed to expand his magic. This is a sequel to Namastey London's 2007 film starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Vipul Amrutlal Shah returns to direct Namaste England.

One of the reasons for the poor performance of the film is perhaps the absence of bad reviews. The film was summarily rejected by critics. The Indian Express Shubhra Gupta concluded his comment in these terms: "But Namaste England is not that movie. It is simply awful, in which the "desires" who live in the UK are poor souls astray, and the true "desis", especially those of the good "Punjab", will save the world. One is a city man (seal) who wants a pindi-ki-kudi pretending to be biwi to make his old-fashioned grandfather happy; the other is a whore who craves for bluffing, Param man, and I will spare you everything they have to say and do.

Word of mouth is not good either. Namaste England competed with Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho. This film is much better than Namaste England and has also received much better reviews and appreciation from the audience.
