Namo TV: Less than a fortnight before General Elections, the BJP announced Sunday the launch of Namo TV. The television channel, available on major DTH platforms, will provide "real-time coverage of PM Modi's exciting election campaign and much more fascinating content," the party said in a Tweet. "Capture the colors of the elections … Watch the dance of democracy … Repeat NaMo with NaMo TV," added the party.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also invited citizens to watch his programs on Namo TV. Referring to the "#MainBhiChowkidar campaign" planned today, Modi on Twitter wrote: "The day we had the hurry has arrived! At 5 pm, Chowkidar lakhs from different parts of India will participate in the historic program #MainBhiChowkidar. It's an interaction not to be missed. Watch it live on NaMoApp or NaMo TV. "
What is Namo TV?
Namo TV, a channel called Narendra Modi, will broadcast the Prime Minister's programs live. The chain logo carries a picture of Narendra Modi. In addition to the live broadcast of the Modi rallies, the channel will also broadcast compilations of its speeches before the elections in Lok Sabha. Namo TV also launches a parchment downstairs where viewers can read part of his speeches. Channel advertising deals with the various policies and programs launched by the government during its mandate.
PM Modi also has an official app that bears his name, named Namo App. The application "brings you the latest information, instant updates, offers a unique opportunity to receive messages and emails directly from the Prime Minister".
Previously, Modi had also tried to launch a NaMo TV channel prior to the polls in Gujarat in 2012. In the 2007 badembly elections, Modi had launched an IPTV channel called 'Vande Gujarat &'. But the electoral commission had limited it as a result of complaints.

Namo TV is available on major satellite TV platforms. including Airtel, Tata Sky, DishTV, among others.
