VISAKHAPATNAM: Nandamuri Balakrishna, an actor turned politician, attacked a TDP activist on Sunday in Cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram district, while campaigning for the upcoming legislative elections in Andhra Pradesh.
The controversial TDP MP from Hinduur was reportedly upset after a fan approached too closely as he tried to click on the picture with him.
In the video, which has become viral on social media, Balakrishna is seen chasing and then crushing youth.
Fearing a backlash in the upcoming elections, local TDP leaders tried to pacify Balakrishna.
