The story of Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiuqui), which will be explored during the second season of the popular Web series Sacred Games . The second season, Neeraj Ghaywan (director of Masaan ) replaces Vikramaditya Motwane as co-director of the series. Anurag Kashyap returns to the director's chair.

The filming of Sacred Games 2 began in November 2018 with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Nairobi and Kenya, while Saif Ali Khan was in Mumbai. Neeraj Ghaywan filmed the plot of Saif Ali Khan, while Anurag Kashyap realized Nawazuddin.
