Netflix unveils the first look at the S2 "Sacred Games"

MUMBAI: The Netflix Internet Entertainment Service officially marked the countdown to Season 2 with the first look at the return of its beloved "Sacred Games" series. Based on Vikram Chandra's award-winning book, Season 2 of Sacred Games will air on Netflix later this year.

The S2 will witness Kalki Koechlin as Batya and Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan, thus participating in the Games. The all-new season promises a new path of friendship, betrayal, crime, pbadion and a thrilling pursuit of Mumbai's belly with these new characters.

The second season begins with Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) continuing his relentless pursuit. to save the city, and Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) faces greater challenges in maintaining his position as a legendary Mumbai leader. The intriguing Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi), introduced in season 1 as "third father" of Gaitonde, plays a central role in the unfolding of a chain of events shaping the season.

Vikramaditya Motwane and Varun Grover continue their role as showrunner and lead writer, respectively.
