The new Apple TV application will be released in May 2019 for own Apple devices first. It allows users to discover and watch shows, movies, news, sports and more in a single app. This app will be available on iOS and macOS devices in addition to streaming devices and smart TVs.
It will also allow them to view the content of their cable, satellite or online streaming subscriptions since the application. With Apple TV channels, subscribers will be able to pay for the premium networks they need, such as HBO, Showtime and Starz. Finally, the new Apple TV app will allow users to buy or rent iTunes movies and TV shows.
As mentioned earlier, this application will first be available for iOS devices and the Apple TV set-top box in May. The company will then release it for Samsung smart TVs "this spring". This has not been confirmed yet, even though the 2018 and 2019 models will get it, or just the latest models of Samsung smart TVs. Other supported platforms include Sony, Vizio and LG TVs as well as Amazon Fire TV and Roku broadcast devices. They will all have the application "in the future".
