The creators of the popular Netflix series, Sacred Games, have released a new video that shows that Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey will be part of the new season. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, the show features Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.
Inspired by the novel by Vikram Chandra (2006), Sacred Games follows the quest of police officer Sartaj Singh (Saif) to save Mumbai from a possible nuclear attack after the warning of gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin) before his death. Pankaj Tripathi, who played the small but important role of Guruji in the first season, seems to be at the heart of the new season.

Season 2 of the Sacred Games will have Kalki as Batya and Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan. According to an official statement, "The all-new season promises a new path of friendship, betrayal, crime, pbadion and a thrilling pursuit of Mumbai's belly with these new characters."
