The production company also hoped that the media would not "let this incident hinder the efforts of the team who have fallen behind in making the film."

This statement comes one day after the visit of a delegation of the Entertainment Journalists & Guild of India. their decision to boycott Ranaut.

Journalists attending Tuesday's meeting demanded a public apology from Kapoor and Ranaut, reporting reporters at Tuesday's meeting.

"We, as a guild, decided to boycott Ms. Ranaut and not give any media coverage," the delegation said in a letter to Kapoor, adding that the boycott would not affect the film or the rest of the film.
