The actor Nicolas Cage and his fourth wife, Erika Koike, officially divorced after four days of marriage.
Three months after the wedding, the former couple was seen granting the divorce, which they attempted to cancel four days later, after Cage had claimed. he was "too drunk" to get married, reports dailymail.co.uk
TMZ claims that, according to court records, the Clark County judge in Nevada pronounced the divorce on May 31.
Cage, 55, claimed the union was based on fraud, because Koike had not disclosed his criminal background nor his relationship with another person.
There seemed to be problems with the union almost immediately and hours after the wedding that took place on March 23rd. were seen fighting in front of the Bellagio Hotel.
Koike later objected to Cage's hope of canceling their marriage and claimed alimony.
TMZ claimed that Cage had not been able to obtain the cancellation, but had managed to get a quick divorce and it was unclear whether Koike had obtained the alimony she wanted.
