There seem to have been problems with the union almost immediately and a few hours after the wedding, which took place on March 23, they were seen arguing in front of the Bellagio Hotel. Koike later objected to Cage's hope of canceling their marriage and claimed alimony.
TMZ claimed that Cage had not been able to obtain the cancellation, but had managed to get a quick divorce and that it was unclear whether Koike had obtained the alimony she wanted .
Koike, 34, also claimed that she had lost during the process. Cage had alleged that the marriage was based on a hoax that had damaged her reputation in the area where she works as a makeup artist.
The couple was about a year old before swapping vows in Vegas on March 23rd.
During a career spanning more than three decades, Cage has been credited as an actor, director, and producer of numerous movies and television shows across genres. Cage also runs a production company called Saturn Films, which produced films such as Shadow of the Vampire (2000) and The Life of David Gale (2003).
Cage has recently figured in a voice-over as a Spider-Man Black in an Oscar-winning animated feature film Spider-Man: Towards the Spider-Verse . It will be seen in Kill Chain detective film directed by Ken Sanzel.
