"Nine": highlights of the film's history: a fascinating story of mystery and intrigue | Malayalam movie news

From the first glance, until the trailer, everything about Nine did not just suggest a flamboyant film, but also a fascinating story.

And why would not it be so! Even when the story failed, Jenuse Mohamed's 100-day love debut, featuring Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menon, was nothing short of style and panache. But with "Nine", the director seems to be pushing his limits by trying to do science fiction, or even a thriller – a theme almost never attempted in Malayalam.

In Nine, the preparations for a world astronomical event that will put "humanity to the test" are being prepared. For the next nine days, a comet will pbad over the Earth and render it without electricity, disrupting the world as we know it. And as the world prepares to witness and survive this global phenomenon, Albert Lewis, a renowned astrophysicist, is one of the few to possess the knowledge that can provide answers to this phenomenon. His quest to study the event takes him to the foot of the Himalayas, in a badtail of astronomy, myths and superstition.

Nine pears and shouts of thriller. From the bottom partition by Sekhar Menon, to the bright and energetic mounts of Abinandhan Ramanujam, adds the element of surprise. Jenuse Mohamed combines fear and intrigue in a balance between mysticism and science. In the first half, Nine perfectly embodies a good thriller, with a solid scientific backdrop and an emotional story.

At the end of the first half, the global astronomical event unleashes more than science has allowed Albert Lewis to prepare for. The supernatural is at stake and openly threatens his young son Adam.

Will Albert Lewis realize the threat over time?
