It would be a starred Christmas at the Bollywood box office this year with a clash between Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer " Brahmastra " and Salman Khan's " Dabangg 3 ". But the creators of " Brahmastra " have postponed its release date to the summer of 2020.
Barely a day after Salman announced that " Dabangg 3 ", the third installment of his popular " Dabangg " franchise ", will be released on the screens on December 20," Brahmastra ", Ayan Mukerji, screenwriter-director, revealed that the public will have to wait a little longer to follow his ambitious fantasy movie.

Mukerji, in a message posted on Instagram on Saturday, said the decision was made to make every effort to make the movie "correct".
He wrote: "When we broke the logo of" Brahmastra "at Kumbh, we were delighted that the end of this road was near Christmas 2019, the date that we announced for the release of the film.But last week, I learned that all teams working on the film, led by my VFX teams, need more time to get the correct VFX effects, to get correct sound and music, and possibly good filming.
"Keeping this in mind, we are moving away from Christmas 2019 as a goal for the release of our film. Most important objective, which is to create the best cinematic experience possible " Brahmastra ".
