The song was previously sung by Atif Aslam. However, following the recent terrorist attack in Pulwama that killed 40 CRPF soldiers, the film's producers decided to re-record the song after announcing the general ban on working with Pakistani artists.
Previously, Salman had also lent his voice to songs such as "Hangover" and "Main Hoon Hero Tera". This song is the fourth in the film after the authors have revealed the first three songs titled "Nai Ladga", "Laila" and "Bumro".
Produced by Salman Khan, notebook directed by Nitin Kakkar is performed by beginners Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan in lead roles. The romantic drama that takes place in the beautiful lands of Kashmir will be screened on March 29, 2019.
