The romance of Anurag and Prerna goes very fast to the south. You would expect to see at least some romance grow between them before decision makers pose problems that separate them. But it seems like they do not want to follow this slow pace and want viewers to see what will happen with Anurag and Komolika. In the previous episode of Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Komolika had asked his gunman to remove the breakages from Molloy's car, which caused him and Rajesh to face an accident. The accident is so serious that they are in a very critical state. Both families are devastated by the condition of Molloy and Rajesh and hope that everything will be fine. But, judging by the way Komolika spoke to Mishka, it seems very obvious that they will die in the next episode.
This is not the only big difference we will encounter in future episodes. Anurag and Komolika talk about a sort of agreement when promoting the next episode. Anurag seems withdrawn, dark circles under the eyes, which clearly indicates that Molloy is dead and that the responsibilities of society are incumbent on him. One sees Komolika telling Anurag that she is not afraid to talk to her father about the publication contract. However, he will have to keep the promise that Molloy made to his father to marry him.
