Nivi brings bad news to Prerna according to Komolika's instructions. In the previous episode, Nivi had made sure that she was the one who announced the announcement of the commitment of Anurag and Komolika to Prerna. She went to Sharma Square and announced their betrothal. Obviously, Prerna was too shocked to accept all the news without having to talk to Anurag. She tried to call him several times but he refused to take his call. Anura decided that he should go talk to him in person. Anurag, however, takes this opportunity to insult Prerna! He tells her that she has no status to match Basu's inheritance. He insults her until he finally announces that he is marrying Komolika.
