Pankaj Tripathi joins Ranveer Singh starrer 83, ready to play the former coach of the Indian PR Man Singh team

The most talented Bollywood actor, Pankaj Tripathi, made his debut in the cast of Ranveer Singh-starrer "83". The sporting drama, which will be directed by Kabir Khan, will report on India's victory under Kapil's leadership, when the Men in Blue defeated the West Indies in the final to win their first World Cup trophy. 1983. Ranveer plays the legendary cricket player Kapil in the film. Pankaj will badume the role of PR Man Singh, former manager of the Indian team.

Pankaj was sold according to the scenario of the film. He said his reading session was a moving journey for him. "It was a moving race for me as I went through the screenplay, and in some places I was in tears, I was really inspired by Kapil Dev's journey." As soon as I heard the screenplay, I was certain of want to be part of this movie, "said the actor in a statement.

Pankaj is an admirer of Kabir's work, including his first documentary films. "He has always been in my list of directors with whom to work one day and Ranveer Singh is one of the factors for which I have chosen to sign the film," he added.

The actor recalls his former collaboration with Ranveer for 2014's "Gunday" where he played "a small role". "Since then, we have kept in touch with some of our mutual friends.We admire each other's work.By the grace of God, I have had the opportunity to work simultaneously with Kabir and Ranveer in the same movie – "83," he said.

The long-awaited film will be released on April 10, 2020. "83" is produced by Madhu Mantena, Vishnu Induri and Khan, and presented by Reliance Entertainment.
