Actress Parineeti Chopra said shortly after the wedding of her cousin and actress Priyanka Chopra in December that her brother-in-law, singer Nick Jonas had surprised the bridesmaids with an unexpected gift. Priyanka and Nick tied a knot in early December at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. They first married according to the Christian wedding rituals and again according to the Hindu wedding rituals. They were joined by their close family and friends for the wedding.

The couple then held receptions in Delhi and Mumbai, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bollywood colleagues such as Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and others.
Priyanka and Nick are now in the United States. They attended a special reception organized by their parents in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday.
Priyanka will now be seen with Farhan Akhtar in The Sky Is Pink by Shonali Bose. The film also stars Zaira Wasim. Parineeti will now be seen with Akshay Kumar in Kesari. His latest film, Namastey England failed at the box office.
