Pati Patni Aur Woh, director of Kartik Aaryan, to be released on January 10, 2020

Pati Patni Aur Woh, performed by Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar, will be released in cinemas on January 20, 2020. The film, which is a modern redux of the clbadic of 1978 with the same title, Kartik will take over the role of Sanjeev Kumar in the movie. Its producers claim to give a modern twist to the original film to attract as many viewers as possible.

The previous film, directed and produced by BR Chopra with a Kamleshwar script, featured Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead apart from Sanjeev Kumar.

Directed by Mudbadar Aziz, known for Happy Bhag Jayegi, the new Pati Patni Aur Woh is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Juno Chopra and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series and B R Studios banners. The film is part of the recent announcement by both production banners of their willingness to enter into a deal involving several films.

Pati Patni Aur Woh went to floors earlier this month. Its makers had shared an image of film sets starring Kartik, Ananya, director Mudbadar Aziz and the producers.

A few days later, Kartik also revealed his rom-com appearance. After playing urban characters, he will be seen with a mustache in Pati Patni Aur Woh. Designer Niharika Khan and hairdresser Hakim Aalim named Kartik's look in the film.

Speaking of Kartik's look, producer Bhushan Kumar said, "To test his character in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kartik has given a new look to surprise everyone. We were all surprised to see this transformation of Kartik pbad from a boy next door to a mature individual. He looks visibly different from the characters he's played in the past. I am confident that his fans will appreciate this decision to experience his look. "
