Pep Guardiola wants to focus on the Premier League after the qualification of Manchester City
Pep Guardiola says the Champions League is a competition completely different from the Premier League, after Manchester City won 2-2 tied for Lyon.
City has beaten twice on Tuesday night and has qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League this season, but the draw forces them to score a point. Hoffenheim to ensure the first place of the group stage.
Lyon has spoiled many glorious opportunities on one night when City has failed to exert the same dominance as its opponents in the Premier League.
But Guardiola thinks it's unrealistic to expect Manchester City's same thing in Europe.
"The Champions League has once again shown me that the competition was different, especially for a reason etter," Guardiola said.
