King Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg defeated his fierce T-Series rival against another major record for his subscribers – less than a day after his reign at the top seemed to be over.

The hugely popular Swedish YouTuber has been in first place on YouTube for several years, but his reign at the top has been endangered in 2018 by Bollywood Production. Since his appearance on the scene, T-Series has pushed the Swede thoroughly, forcing Pewds and his fans to excel.

Enthusiastic fanbase goes every step of the way – some organizing a parade and others advertising in their local Walmart store. Larger personalities, such as Elon Musk, President and CEO of Tesla, also played their part in keeping the Swede in the lead.

The Swede has a slight lead but still leads the standings

with the support of Musk and others, PewDiePie has taken another important step: the T series is still lagging behind.

Thanks to a recent March 12, Kjellberg has crossed the 89 million subscriber mark, while his lead in the standings dropped to less than 400 on March 11.

That's another major marker of YouTube's first channel because The race to 90 million subscribers is continuing – and he's looking to retain his place as king of the platform as a result from a number of close calls.

It remains to be seen how long the Swede has left, but for now, the focus is on securing an additional number of subscribers to reach 90 million.

Moreover, even though he ended up falling behind T-Series, he beat all the initial projections that made him lose his lead some time ago.

Pewds and his fans continue to surprise everyone, and we will not let them go through some other ideas to keep his reign at the top.
