Peyton Royce against Nikki Cross

The Great Outburst : EC3 lost again this week to Cedric Alexander. The IIconics were on the bill for the second week in a row, but only Peyton Royce was in action, beating the start of the Nikki Cross on Cross show.

Some changes this week. There was no third man in the booth and no third match in the show. Last week, David Otunga was added, but we returned this week to Byron Saxton and Renee Young, commented on the usual two-game recap format.

Cedric Alexander defeated EC3 (5:23)

Alexander. has made a few appearances in the last two years at the Main Event. He came back last week to beat Cesaro, his first match in a year.

Alexander and EC3 were doing well together, if not a little slow towards the end. The match basically hinged around Alexander, who looked too brave and who looked too much for EC3.

Apart from Alexander who slaps his thigh for every move he made, they ended well. After the EC3 came closer, Alexander got hot and tackled with a back spiral in an enzuigiri followed by lumbar test.

The fans seem to have largely accepted the fact that the EC3 is where it currently stands, but the EC3 has been strangely silent on Twitter for about a month now. You have to wonder what he's doing from his current position.

Payton Royce (with Billie Kay) beat Nikki Cross (6:40)

They certainly gave a lot to Cross in his first match in the Main Event. She seemed to have even won until the last moments.

It was interesting that they had appeared here for Cross, but if they did the same and beat it in London on Monday, things would not go very well. Cross did not hurt at all here. Interestingly, Young noted in his comment that Cross "was still struggling to find his place in the locker room," I think it's a WWE word because they still do not know what to do with it.

The finish was long. back and forth with both women frustrated at not being able to beat each other. Cross dodged a knee stroke and rolled Royce for two, then Royce connected with a forearm, a swivel kick and the supersonic fisherman for the win.
