Photos: Bollywood shines at Akash-Shloka's pledge

The eldest son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, is ready to marry his fiance, Shloka Mehta. The final date of the wedding is yet to be decided, but the festivities have already begun. From pre-engagement to mehendi, the couple has already started throwing big parties, which have all the Bollywood bigwigs present at their homes. And last night too, the Ambanis launched a big party to celebrate Akash-Shloka's engagement. As expected, almost the entire city of B has come together under one roof to bless the couple.

The couple of the moment complemented each other and posed happily for shutterbugs. Shloka wore a heavy lehenga for engagement. The entire Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga was a bespoke piece that featured heavy embroidery in pastel shades and applied floral motifs. For this look, she kept her simple makeup with strong eyebrows, kohl-lined eyes and a soft pink hair color. Her hair was pinned to the front with loose curls at the end. She has accessorized the look with a diamond necklace, earrings and a matching maang-tika on her forehead.

Akash, on the other hand, wore a dark red bandghala. The silk texture had a beautiful shine encrusted with crystals studded like buttons. He paired the long coat with white pants and black shoes.

The groom's mother, Nita Ambani was beautiful in a pastel saree by the same designer. He also featured a floral work similar to Shloka's lehenga. By joining the floral brigade, even Isha Ambani wore a heavy floral lehenga paired with a shiny silver blouse and an eye-catching choker ensemble.
