Sonali Bendre, who left her homeland in New York for cancer treatment, returned to Mumbai earlier this year. The actress has since stopped catching up on her work. She got caught by bedbugs today as she was going out to vote.
Dressed in a traditional blue and white outfit, Sonali went to the booth with her husband, Goldie Behl.
While Sonali was in town for the vote, Rishi Kapoor, who is also receiving medical treatment for an unknown disease in New York, failed to vote this time. The actor had previously manipulated his twitter account to inform his fans that he had asked the Indian Consulate in New York if there were any provisions allowing him to exercise his right to vote outside the country, but to no avail.
Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao were also present at the polling station. Dressed in their casual dress, we saw the couple posing for the paparazzi showing their inked finger.
