A few days after Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah united at a secret wedding, the photos of the discreet yet elegant ceremony were unveiled. The couple is married on July 4th during a private ceremony in Delhi, at which only family members attended.
Wedding photos are shown on social media. We see Pooja dressed in a green sari with a pale pink dupatta covering her head, while Nawab is wearing a beige kurta pajamas wearing a turban. On another picture shared by Pooja, we find them in traditional outfits – maybe for a reception. The two are paired in gray – although it's a lehenga for Pooja, Nawab wears a matching sherwani.

Actor Tiger Zinda Hai told Bombay Times that he wanted to marry Pooja as soon as he met her. "You have to be ready to live something like that and I guess Pooja and I were in this space. It was like we were destined to be together. We did not want to think about it too much and delay it further (the wedding). We have both gone through different phases of their lives and have matured over the years. When I reconnected with her, I did not have the spirit in my relationship. However, at this stage of life, you feel the emptiness of not having a companion. Pooja came into my life like a ray of sunshine and I was sure I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. In fact, I wanted to marry her right after our first meeting, "he said in the interview.
Pooja had previously told the newspaper:" Nawab and I exchanged greetings to Delhi, in the presence of our families only. Our relatives asked us why we are delaying (marriage). I was just going with the flow, but then I realized that he was the man with whom I want to spend the rest of my life and that there is no point in delay it further. So we are here. We had a wedding in Arya Samaj and we will register our wedding this week. "
