Portable headsets for set-top boxes, 4 new Alexa devices arriving in India next month | technology

Four Indian manufacturers announced Monday the launch of new products such as portable headsets, smart speakers and decoders integrating Amazon Alexa.

The hardware manufacturers are iBall, Sirena Technologies, boAt and MyBox. Alexa uses Alexa Voice Service (AVS) to allow developers to integrate Alexa directly into their products, providing the convenience of voice control to any connected device.

The four devices will be available starting next month, allowing customers to ask questions, listen to music, control smart home devices and more, said the AVS in a statement.

"Breathe-M" from iBall is a wireless Bluetooth headset with built-in mic for only 2225 Rs. "Sirena Technologies is touted as one of the world's smallest portable smart speakers for 2,699 rupees.

"boAt Stone 700A" is a shock and water-resistant smart speaker for 7,799 rupees and the "MyBox" Alexa Kit f or the decoder (STB), together with a voice remote control, does costs only 1,999 rupees.

The previous Alexa built-in devices launched in India were Motorola's Pulse 3 and Plus 3 Max headphones starting at 1,599 rupees. 2,592, respectively, Bose Home Speaker 500, Bose Soundbar 500 and Soundbar 700, respectively, for 39,000, 59,000 and 79,000 rupees.

Amazon launched a new range of Echo devices and an Echo companion device in India last month. .

At 4,499 RS, Echo Dot comes with a new speaker for cleaner sound and updated fabric design. Echo Plus with an integrated Zigbee hub, an improved speaker and a new design will cost Rs 14,999. With Echo Sub, you can add rich bbad to music playback on Echo devices from Rs 599.
