The previous episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay had been satisfying in many ways for fans of Prerna and Anurag. The cat is finally out of the bag and Anurag and Prerna have confessed their feelings to each other. Although Prerna was quite hesitant at first, since Anurag was already engaged to someone else, her confession was enough to express her true feelings. Anurag even promised Prerna that he would settle everything in a week by canceling the marriage with Mishka and talking about Prerna to his mother. While they have their romantic moment, Naveen is looking for them. He is so angry and frustrated that he actually told Komolika that he would shoot Anurag and take Prerna with him.
Komolika's reaction was sufficient for Mishka to realize that she is interested in Anurag. The two sisters talked about it when Komolika admitted falling in love with Anurag and playing with her heart. She even tried to dissuade Mishka from getting married!
