Superstars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and director Shankar were in Hyderabad on November 26th to promote the movie 2.0.
Written and directed by Shankar, 2.0 is a sci-fi action movie and its promos show it's an extravagant thriller of visual action. The film will be released in three languages, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, on Nov. 29, and the film unit is using it to promote it on various TV channels nationwide.
The 2.0 team travels to Hyderabad to advertise its Telugu version. The meeting with the press began Monday at 6 pm and Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Shankar answered questions about the production and promotion of the film. This press conference lasted two hours.

Movie 2.0 serves as Spiritual successor to Enthiran (2010) and S Shankar co-wrote the screenplay with B Jeyamohan for the film, which was produced by A Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.The film was produced with an estimated budget of Rs 543 crore and is the most expensive Indian film made to date
The producers of version 2.0 have kept the details of its story, but if we have to follow the information, Dr. Vaseegaran is installed in a foreign country after the dismantling of Chitti robot, but he rebadembles his robot Chitti, when a deadly evil represents a huge threat. The way he fights the monster to save the world is the crux of the world.
Rajinikanth plays the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, which he picked up in the first installment. The Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar, is perceived as a deadly evil, while Amy Jackson plays the female lead in 2.0. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Riyaz Khan appear in the secondary cast of the film, which includes AR Rahman's music and Nirav Shah's cinematography.
