Prime Minister Narendra Modi: Modi wins India and makes Vivek Oberoi a star

Film Name: Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Actor: Vivek Oberoi

Director: Omung Kumar

Modi won the Varanasi Award. India 2019 too. The BJP led by Modi is considering his second consecutive win in Lok Sabha. And in theaters, Vivek Oberoi teaches people the perfect bed recipe, such as morning tea. The milk tea from Adrak and Elaichi and Amul who can open your eyes and let you see the wave Modi that India embraces for the next five years. In Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Omung Kumar, the biggest takeaway is this tea straight out of a Sanjeev Kapoor show. Everything else corresponds to what we have seen in recent years when the word "Modi" is part of our vocabulary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recounts the journey of our Prime Minister from his tea sale to He spent his days gathering for desh and deshwasi. The film, "Biopic", ends with Modi's swearing in as Indian Prime Minister after his landslide victory in 2014. If only Vivek Oberoi and Co. would have waited a few more days. We could have seen 2019 too. Maybe a sequel is on the way, who knows.

But credit comes back. Vivek Oberoi could not have asked for a better return from Bollywood. He did not have to play in the movie. His impression of Modi is so quirky that in the two-hour, fifteen-minute movie you constantly compare him to our Prime Minister and think … maybe Modi IS a better actor than Oberoi. At least the Prime Minister delivers his speeches with conviction, can look into the eyes of people and promise to do everything possible to win the country and win the country a second time.

Vivek Oberoi blurs in front of Modi, the leader of the party. Because when you play Narendra Modi, you must be absolutely sure of your art. Vivek Oberoi plays smart to play Modi. He grimaces, makes strange grimaces and tries to express from behind this beard and mustache, but is terribly unable to play our man in the center. Meanwhile, the number of gray and black hair in his eyebrows fluctuates constantly.

What works for Prime Minister Narendra Modi is that we have seen the Prime Minister take power. before our own eyes. It's a rise to power on social media and in the gatherings that remain in the public memory, which we witness every day.

The challenges for director Omung Kumar were numerous in that sense. The director, who has done a remarkable job with Mary Kom, brings the best of her talent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi's is a story that the whole country is aware of. Taking "creative freedoms" in such a scenario is not a good thing to do. It may be. Because decades later, when people will have the chance to discover Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "biopic", it will be THE Modi Story. Who is the leader after all?

PM Narendra Modi, the film guides the viewer through the best moments of Modi's life. It highlights the difficulties of this man, who sold tea in train compartments and slept in caves at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Along the way, he caricatures opposition, Congress, Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi … and deprives Manmohan Singh of his voice. To such an extent that Anupam Kher as Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister of the beginning of this year feels worthy of an Oscar.

In his process of dehumanizing everyone around Modi and his arms brother, Amit Shah, slightly veiled. PM Narendra Modi, the film ends up caricaturing even Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The only character that stands out, with the exception of Modi and Amit Shah, is LK Advani.

Prashant Narayanan strives to play the role of the sinister businessman, but ends up becoming an awkward excuse for the villain. Darshan Kumar is your "bikaau patrakar" who puts his best foot forward but, alas, can not rise above the mediocre. Boman Irani shines in his short role of Ratan Tata. Zarina Wahab gives his touch to Heeraben, but leaves you nothing for which to write.

Producer Sandip Ssingh, credited with the "story" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, writes here a hagiography for our Prime Minister. (On a side note, Vivek Oberoi should have looked for the meaning of this word earlier, perhaps he just had an objective point of view.) There is not a single flaw in our main character here . Come on, even Narendra Modi, the man himself, would not want to be shown in this incredible way.

Even the most controversial parts of PM Narendra Modi's life – the Godhra riots – are planted in opposition as a means of preventing Modi from serving his people. Maybe the makers of PM Narendra Modi the film should have taken their own perfect tea recipe a bit seriously: just add a little sugar. Because when you have too much sugar, the tea is inedible.

The adrak is necessary. In tea, as in a biographical film.

1 out of 5 stars for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As far as the man is concerned, India has delivered its verdict.
