Charles was presented with a colorful 70th birthday balloon in a silver gift bag by members of the press at the Spencer House.
The heir to the throne appeared to be thrilled with the gifts, the prince in the back of the bag which is contained in a nod to Charles's editorial for this week's Country life urging the nation to take care of Britain's countryside.
Charles was handed the gift as he was arrested at the event in London.
One reporter said to Charles: "We thought it might be amuse you sir, we were a bit worried after reading Country Life. We would like to see the best of the world. "
The delighted Prince smiled and laughed as he received the present, saying:" Where do you find these terrible things? "
While Camilla confirmed she had Duchess of Cornwall, Charles Chuckled and said, "Charles has a gift, the Duchess of Cornwall."

When asked how he felt on his special day, Charles joked:" How am I feeling? Older. "
Charles looked smart as always in a navy blue.
Camilla complimented his husband, wearing an elegant dress in a similar shade of blue.
