Prince Philip was involved in a car accident near Sandringham. It was revealed that the Duke would not be charged.
The UK authorities have announced that it would be "not in the public interest to sue", especially after the 97-year-old agreed to waive his license. The accident occurred when her Land Rover collided with a Kia driven by a 28-year-old woman, with a nine-month-old girl in her back seat.
Chris Long, CPS East of England Crown Attorney, revealed on Thursday (February 14), "The PSC has carefully reviewed the police submittals for a road collision on the A149 on January 17. "

"We took into account all the circumstances in this case, including the level of culpability, the age of the driver and the return of the driver's license. We decided that it would not be in the public interest to sue. "

After the accident, which left the 28-year-old woman with scratches at her knees, the Duke Edinburgh offered his apologies to the people involved, and stated that he was deeply sorry for the pain that he caused.

"
