R Madhavan will play the role of famed aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan in his self-directed narrative Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The filming is almost finished and the film should be released soon. And in the middle of that, Madhavan reveals an exciting update on the movie. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will play Simran as Maddy's wife and will be their meeting after 17 years. Madhavan and Simran worked for the last time at Kannathil Muthammital, led by Mani Ratnam. The two stars are now back as a couple on screen in Nambi Effect, revealed by Maddy via his social networking pages. Rocketry will describe the life of Nambi Narayanan from the '90s until just recently, when he got compensation from the Supreme Court. The film will have an output in several languages and will be in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. Nambi Narayanan is one of the most prominent scientists in India, falsely accused of espionage and arrested in 1994. All charges against him were dropped by the IWC and the Supreme Court in 1996 and 1998 respectively. Narayanan was later part of the history of the Indian aerospace world after being included in the team that created the first PSLV sent by India to the moon.
