Most people find it difficult to manage relationships at a distance, forget marriage. But Radhika Apte is not a part of it. The actress of Sacred Game, who married London musician Benedict Taylor in 2012, explains his marriage at a distance and his balance between work and personal life.

Radhika, last seen in Andhadhun, in an interview with Cosmopolitan India reveals that despite the physical distance separating them, she and her husband try to meet each other every month.

"Bened (he hates being called Ben, so I call him Bened) and I try to meet him every day, whether he's coming to India or I'm in London, where he's based. It is really important to take the time to meet in an LDR [Long Distance Relationship] In our case, we are committed to being together for a few days and every month we cancel even sometimes other plans to achieve it ", she told Cosmopolitan India.

"It has happened that the situation becomes a month and a half because of our schedule, but we do not do it. If you really want to be with someone, you make that effort, c & # 39; automatic is becoming a priority, and it's very intuitive, that's what we need and what we want to do, "she adds.

The 33-year-old actress says travel is quite expensive, but their relationship is working properly, they do not mind going on a trip

"Travel is perhaps the biggest expense of our lives. But for this to work, it is also important. There is no formula, but the only thing that every couple on a long distance should do is set a schedule to meet and give that preference to another, "Radhika adds.

A year after his Bollywood debut, Shor In My City, Radhika tied the knot with Benedict. But after many years of marriage, many are still unaware of her marital status.

"Benedict and I met eight years ago by mutual friends, but to this day, few people know that I'm married. This was not like I wanted to keep things 'secret' As many might think, it's just that we got married and we did not care much about it.It was a registered marriage. But honestly, marriage or not marriage, that do not really matter, because commitment is commitment. If two people want to be together, they will be, whether they are married or not.In our case, we come from different countries and marriage suited us because it allowed us to enter the respective countries, "says Radhika.
