Renowned filmmaker Santhosh Sivan made sure to capture Rajinikanth's intimate moment with his grandson, Ved, on the Darbar plateaux.

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently shooting for her next film, Darbar, also starring Nayanthara in the female lead. Last month, few pictures of the superstar who was shooting a cricket sequence in Mumbai for his next action drama became viral on social media. Fans eagerly await the release of this film while Thalaiva raises high expectations for each of his films. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was having the best time of his life since he was spending time with his grandson, Ved, on the plateaus. Soundarya and her son Ved recently visited the sets of his film Darbar.

Renowned filmmaker Santhosh Sivan is sure to capture Rajinikanth's intimate moment with his grandson Ved. The picture shows the superstar holding the little Ved in his arms while looking at the screen. In the film, Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of a police officer nearly 25 years after playing a cop for the last time in his 1992 film Pandian.

Darbar marks the fourth collaboration of superstar Rajinikanth and Nayanthara. Previously, they had worked together in the films Sivaji, Chandramukhi and Kuselan. Rajinikanth was last seen in the film Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The mbadive response received and continued to win tremendously at the box office.
