"I did not really write a version of Gupt, but I have a concept that I might want to do in a few years. If I had to do Gupt 2, it would not be a sequel since Kajol would die at the end and it would end happily. I would not mind franchising Gupt if the story I'm writing is better than the first one with a completely different story. I could just use the title, the soul of the movie and the names of the characters, but story and cast, it will be a completely different movie. The idea is to show the public a brand new movie while they are bored looking at the same thing. I have to give them something new every time.
