Some time ago it was announced that the 1978 clbadic film, Pati Patni Aur Woh, would be redone with Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. Now, according to the reports, another cult comedy film of yesteryear should be redone and this is other than the Dharmendra film and Amitabh Bachchan, in 1975, Chupke Chupke.
According to a report from Mumbai Mirror, the clbadic producers Bhushan Kumar and Luv Ranjan are doing comedy again that is always fun to watch. The two have teamed up and also strung together in one of the stars of the current generation and this is none other than Rajkummar Rao. In the remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's epic comedy, Rajkummar will take over the role of Dharmendra, professor to Professor Parimal Tripathi, also known as Pyarelal.
In the film, Amitabh Bachchan was considered the best friend of Dharmendra who claims to be the Parimal teacher, but Sukumar Sinha, who is an English speaker. While Om Prakash was considered jijaji lawyer, Sharmila Tagore played the role of Dharmendra's wife. Now, in the remake, the rest of the cast is still to be finalized. But from now on, Rajkummar is supposed to play the dual role of Dharmendra.
According to the Mumbai mirror, "Chupke Chupke is an iconic film and a favorite film of many, including Rajkummar. He loved the idea of a remake and agreed to participate. He will have Raj in both avatars. The scenario is being finalized, but the director and the rest of the cast are not locked yet, but the team is very excited about it. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao will be seen with Kangana Ranaut in Mental Hai Kya. The film is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures. The movie's poster featured Kangana and Rajkummar in a crazy avatar performing a razor-sharp act. Mental Hai Kya is scheduled for June 21, 2019.
