In January 2019, the film NTR Kathanayakudu, based on the life of one of the most admired actors of Andhra Pradesh, T. T. Rao Rao. Although history covers the legendary actor's life, there are still unseen cases and controversial parts of his life that will apparently be revealed in Ram Gopal's next film Varma NTR from Lakshmi. Since the trailer for the film has been aired, social media is making itself heard.
After the release of the trailer, the movie's hashtag (#LakshmisNTR) was in vogue on social media platforms throughout the day. While some showed enthusiasm for the film, others slammed the trailer. The fact that NTR was also a national sensation because of its political history made this trailer even more controversial.

The Lakshmi trailer was released yesterday at exactly 9:47 AM. In one hour, the video was viewed more than 5 lakh. Shortly after, the director addressed Twitter and wrote: "A request to all, if you can send me pictures of those who look at all http://bit.ly/Lakshmis NTRTra … as They can be stars, interesting people or maybe even animals. What followed after his tweet was rather interesting.

In an interview with The Hindu, RGV revealed that he was planning to release the film before the general election. The director is known to have made films such as Satya (1998), Dil Se .. (1998), Killing Veerappan (2016), ] Sarkar 3 (2017), Rakta Charitra (2010) Sakar Raj (2008) and more. His last film Bhairava Geetha was released on December 14th. It was a bilingual romantic thriller (Kannada and Telugu), which featured Dhananjay, Irra Mor, Raja Balwadi and others.
