Bollywood actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, were joined by veteran actor Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in Varanasi, where they held a press conference for their upcoming film Brahmastra. The team is currently in town for the shooting of the film directed by Ayan Mukerji
. This is the first time Ranbir will be seen on the screen with his girlfriend Alia. Brahmastra is the first part of Ayan's fantastic trilogy, also performed by Amitabh Bachchan.

The Brahmastra team has been shooting for some time in Varanasi. The images of the sets often surface online. A series of photos that appeared earlier this month showed Ranbir standing on a boat while Alia was sitting on the deck. They are seen holding plastic fans on another image. While Ranbir was wearing a green shirt and jeans, Alia wore a white top and blue jeans on these pictures.
Other images taken in the sets of the film show Ranbir and Alia posing with the team inside what looks like a temple. A deity could be seen in the background.
They were also seen recently at the Kashi Vishwanath temple where Alia wore a simple yellow salwar suit and Ranbir wore a 'rudraksh mala' on a plain white shirt. He also had the tika chandan on his forehead.
It is reported that the Brahamstra team will probably be shooting more than 20 days in Varanasi and some portions will be shot inside Ramnagar Fort and Chet Singh Fort.
The film's logo was launched on Mahashivratri during Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj with the help of drones. He was scheduled to release this Christmas but was postponed until next year.
