The annual Umang 2019 festival brings together Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan and the actors wonder why they have never played the role of a policeman in their careers. Umang is an organized benefit for the Mumbai police, which is attended by Bollywood stars.
Ranbir also claimed to have obtained a check for the reality after delivering a "dabba" at the box office. A policeman stopped his car and, after clicking on a selfie with the actor, gave him a half – hour lecture on choosing the wrong kind of movie. The policeman even gave him a career advice telling him that he should now play the role of a police officer on the screen.
Shah Rukh then asked Ranbir since when he was working in movies, the actor having responded that he had been in Bollywood for a decade now. "I have been working for 26 years and I have never had the chance to play a policeman. So, I will play a policeman first, then it will be your turn, "replied Shah Rukh. Ranbir then stated that when SRK played the role of a police officer on the screen, he was ready to play the role of his agent.
Shah Rukh played a leading role in Ranbir's 2016 film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In Umang, Shah Rukh played with her co-star Zero Katrina Kaif and was also joined by Ranbir's girlfriend, actor Alia Bhatt. Ranbir was later seen taking pictures with Alia

Alia and Ranbir will be seen at the same time first once in Brahmastra from Ayan Mukerji. Shah Rukh was to be seen in Rakesh Sharma's biopic, but rumor has it that he's withdrawn from the project.
