The movie is playing Also Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in leading roles, Vaani was last seen in front of Ranveer Singh in Befikre, she will play the role of a traveling dancer in the film and learned Kathak for the role. Shamshera is directed by Karan Malhotra and its release is scheduled for July 2020.
The film is also expected to conflict with RRR, Ranbir's first girlfriend, Telugu, directed by SS Rajamouli, renowned baahubali.
