Actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are currently promoting their Gully Boy movie and visiting the Kapil Sharma Show to speak to the small screen audience. Ranveer opened the new season for Kapil with Simmba co-star Sara Ali Khan. This is his second appearance in the series. After telling the animator Kapil Sharma in the previous episode that Deepika considered him as his brother, the actor Padmaavat continued to tease him with a mention of his wife.
A short video of the shoot of the series surfaced on the Internet and shows how Kapil presents the actors of the Gully Boy to the public. While Alia seems all excited and greets the viewers, Ranveer is lost in a video chat, even sending kisses to the caller. He later acknowledged Kapil's welcome and told the audience that he was addressing their "Bhabhi".

Ranveer and Deepika also attended the Kapil Sharma wedding reception in Mumbai and danced with their hearts during the event.
The actor never misses words when he talks about Deepika and also writes him a comforting note about him, published on his recently launched website. The long note ends with these words: "I am the proudest husband in the world. She inspires me to be the best man I can be. She makes my life worthy to be lived. She is really … the light of my life. "

Ranveer decided to do everything possible to promote Gully Boy and made the his love for surfing in crowds. The actor was recently called for his reckless attitude while he had ended up hurting some fans with his unexpected jump in the crowd at Lakme Fashion Week. Ranveer performed his rap numbers of Gully Boy and plunged into the crowd at the grand finale of the event.
