Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy received a terrific box-office response with collections of over Rs. 111 crores. The filmmaker can not be happier. Zoya, accompanied by actors Ranveer Singh, Vijay Varma and Siddhant Chaturvedi, went to a theater in Mumbai to observe the public's mood.
The team of four was almost badailed by a teeming crowd of moviegoers who could not help but praise them. Ranveer, being the perfect gentleman, was seen protecting Zoya from the crowd by escorting her arms around her.
True to his usual energetic personality, Ranveer even performed in front of the public, Siddhant accompanying him in the impromptu act.

Alia Bhatt – who plays the role of Ranveer's girlfriend, Safeena in the film – was unable to accompany the Gully's team during her visit to the theater. The actor has resumed work on his upcoming film Brahmastra, starring his boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. However, Alia was quick to express her disappointment and commented "FOMO" on the post.
